Last Update crashes
I have been using this app for a while and it’s definitely my favorite astrology app. Yesterday (9.12.20) I updated it and as I open it the screen goes black and i can’t see nothing. I have an iPhone 5s if that helps. Hope to be able to use it again soon!! Thank you very much for your work, it is great.

LOOK NO FURTHER--SIX STARS. Amazing app. (Follow-up Review)
Look no further, get this app. If you are a serious astrology student, this is the app you need. This is a follow-up to my 1st review that Apple did not let me access. My 1st review had 3 stars, this is an upgrade. It isn't that something goes wrong that makes an app; something WILL go wrong--it is the nature of software. It is WHAT HAPPENS when it goes wrong that makes the app, and this developer is top shelf. ------------------------------------ Apple strikes again! App Store not able to recognize me while logged in; and hides new reviews miles down in the list. I wrote a review, downgraded the star rating after paid part of app broke; and wanted to upgrade it again. If I can ever find that review again I will edit it, Time Nomad deserves a SOLID five stars. ----------------------------------- This app is epic. Serious, albeit beginning astrology student here. This app is better than many costing $30 and up! It does require an internet connection; but the bonus is that you get very precise coordinates, and the app takes up less space on your phone, and will run a lot faster as the bulk of the work takes place on the server. It is fast, flawless, feature-packed and comes with a great help system which is activated by clicking on the various elements such as f. example transits. The paid progression broke; but--this gal is an old geek, been using computers since the -80's and let me tell you; personal service like this is exceptional, and in 2018, downright unheard of. The developer personally answered my query and spent time troubleshooting my issue via e-mail. Color me IMPRESSED! While the part still isn't functional; the rest of the app still is, and I am 100% convinced it will be taken care of. I have therefore scrapped my plans of buying another program, and instead plan on springing for the asteroid package to make it a complete solution. I'd give Time Nomad six stars if I could. Thank you Denis!! ☺️👍 ——————————————————— Another update; 2 years later. Denis and Time Nomad is still rocking it! Still a 6-star app. At this point I have most of the pro features, and a new phone. This app works flawless on IOS 14 as well. No worries. If you are considering Astro Gold, get this app instead. It is really that good. And now for my wish list. Denis—I would definitely pay for a couple added features: 1) Single-planet selection; where all others are filtered out, and you can see that specific planet and the aspects formed to the others. If you could filter the aspects planets in, one at a time, that would also be so great. 2) Hop from alignment to alignment. As in—when does Jupiter transit form aspects to other transiting planets and to natal chart — say over the next 100 years. So selectable by planet & aspect, where the date calculates. It would be so killer if you could add these features Denis. And they would definitely be worth paying for as add-ons. Keep up the good work!!! Signed—a very happy customer.

I love this app. I have had it for about two years and it is the only astrology tool I have held on to. It has everything I need without a pay wall: simple transits, lunar phases, retrogrades, and natal charts—and the paid add ons (I think I’ve bought two or three) are worth it, and are a reasonable value. I would recommend this app to someone interested in astrology, who has foundational knowledge about astrological symbols, and is tired of horoscopes that don’t explain the connection to the stars. This app gives you everything you need to read and interpret the stars for yourself, and if that’s what you’re looking for, you found it. It’s an invaluable tool for me. I will say though, that it was jarring at first how much information is available on the app. It almost seemed like a maze the first few weeks I used it. But the layout is beautiful, (maybe a comprehensive guide upon first opening/ downloading would help?) and after learning how to navigate, I love it. My only other issue is that sometimes there are symbols, abbreviations, and concepts that aren’t explained. I love the guides in this app, but sometimes I want more of them! I hope this app gets more love in the future because it really is an amazing tool! My best to the creators!

As an astrologer who is always on the go and enjoys passing time wherever I am doing something related to astrology, I'm always on the lookout for good astrology software that will make my life easier and my mind buzzing!!! This app is probably one of the best astrology apps on the App Store. It has been exquisitely thought out and designed. I really don't know where to start with this. It's graphics are amazing and the options and functions have been intricately thought out and designed. You can clearly see the amount of work that has been put in the free or lite version and I'm going through the app to see what add-ons I'm going to buy. I use this app every day
I originally stumbled upon this app 2 years ago because it was one of the few apps I could find that gave planetary hour notifications. Since then I’ve come to use it every day to also check charts and transits. I love the added benefit of getting notifications about planetary transits as they’re happening without even opening the app. This app is incredibly intuitive and easy to use. I’ve purchased some of the add-ons for deeper exploration but I just want everyone to know what an incredible value you receive for FREE. The convenience and extent of charts and information you can pull easily from your phone, without fumbling with a mobile website, is absolutely priceless.

Sync won’t occur from iPad to iPhone, although it did until recently. Sync does work from iPhone to iPad though. The only problem is that I mostly use my iPad and had made many changes and additions to Time Nomad on it. I checked settings on both devices and they are both checked to sync across iCloud. Don’t know what happened. Thanks.

Thank the heavens
This is a great tool for anyone who is an intermediate or higher in Astrology. If you know all the glyphs and the purpose of each planet, this will be very handy. My only hope (other than the developer looking at this) is for there to be some sort of update or add-on that allows me to search for certain transits (Jupiter sextile Saturn for example). Allowing me to find every date that will have these transits. Imagine having that much power in an app to guide people into opening a business or something.

I must say, this app is not the easiest to understand and navigate for people with minimal knowledge of astrology. That being said this is an amazing app for learning it from the ground up. It has helped me understand how things relate to me on a much deeper level than prior to this apps use. Other apps tell you what their interpretations are for you, this app allows you to make your own interpretation based on what is known to be fact or very long-standing and upheld beliefs. And find out how these things apply to you both on a day to day level, and long term.

Vedic vs Tropical
This app is my favorite because I like to learn both systems. I am not a professional astrologer but I am high interested in it because it is so applicable to life situations and can provide great healing resources. I love the idea of being able to bounce back and forth from Vedic to Tropical because I am curious about both systems. I see the benefit in both and like blending them for my own curiosity. I do have some suggestions but I will email them once I have a chance. I just have habit of jumping in deep then trying to swim my way back up but the depth of the information in this app approaches astrology and astronomy. It really helps me learn the deeper meanings and apply the information. Hopefully I am doing it right haha Thank you!

Almost perfect
The astrology is beautiful and well done. My only issue is not being able to print off copies of my charts. This is a huge issue, as I often do charts for family, and I like to give them a copy of the chart with my notes on it. To do these charts and print them off, I am forced to use another app (iPhemeris). Please find a way to add printing and exporting files? This would allow me to use Time Nomad as my only astrology app.

Font/color are the downside
I had this app before and just re-downloaded... I don’t remember it with a black background and multiple fonts and text colors. Am I crazy because I remember it as black on white? This is the best astrology app, but just trying to read it makes me not want to use it anymore. For the record, I’m not old. 🤷🏼♀️ I have great eyesight. The colors and fonts make this hard to read & look like it’s meant for children. This app used to look professional, and it used to be easy to read.

No MC/ASC aspects
Although I find the app aesthetically appealing and relatively informational (other apps are more detailed in regards to aspects). I do find it frustrating that you can purchase ads-ons for asteroids yet the MC and Ascendant are left out. The app will show you what your MC, ASC, and DSC are BUT it is completely left out when it comes to aspects. I’ve been studying astrology for maybe a year now, so I’m no pro but in following seasoned astrologers I find many referring to the importance of these placements yet this app seems to disregard them. Maybe I’m not navigating the app properly. But this app does seem to be for more well versed astrologers overall considering some of the incredibly detailed settings. Maybe not the best app for astrology hobbyists. Update: After a response from the developer I see the aspects for MC, ASC, and DSC and have changed my rating in accordance.

Awesome iOS app w/ many free features
I am so grateful for Time Nomad. Denis, the creator is great, responds to emails, and really knows his astrology, as well as programming obviously! I could not afford to purchase SolarFire or the Mac one TimePassages. This app lets me create as many charts as I have wanted, and save them in my list. There are too many customizable features to list here. I love the time scrolling option to scoot forward or backwards in time, particularly when looking at the current chart of the moment. It’s great for looking where the planets and Moon will be for planning events into the future and choosing dates for vacations etc. I’ve purchased add-ons, including Progressions and Fixed Stars, and am always happy to do so bc I know what a deal I’ve got going here with an app I didn’t have to pay anything for to start using in the first place! I feel really blessed. And Denis’ blog posts (available in feed icon in top right side menu) are so timely and enlightening, and add to my astro knowledge, especially about major current transits. Check out the one about Covid-19!!! This app allows me to “do astrology” on the go without a computer. It is packed with features you can find by exploring the app and with a little practice, these easily become familiar & indispensable. I wish Time Nomad was available for laptop/desktop, so I could print from it, not *just* for iPhone/iPad, but hey, the world isn’t perfect! Until I can buy one of those expensive “professional” programs, this is my astro software and I love it.

Great tool to learn
I appreciate the app for the variety of tools available, viewing options, developer response, and how it keeps improving over the two years I’ve had it. I’ve been a informal student of astrology for those two years and have just started formally learning it and I don’t for-see my needs outgrowing the app anytime soon. I really wish there were more Hellenistic specific tools though. It would be cool to have zodiacal releasing and profection timing tools, bounds/term rulers, and Decans. Of course in a perfect world.

No Asteroid Aspects
I’ve just paid for the extended planetary bodies “Add-On” only to find out that, while I get to see the asteroids in my chart, none of them are aspected. If possible, I would like to see this in the next update, and get some written confirmation that that’s inbound. If it’s not possible, I would like to ask for a refund of those $8 or so. I’m currently unemployed due to the COVID Pandemic, and am potentially facing homelessness within the next week as I can’t afford rent by any stretch. I know it’s only $8, but that’s gonna mean a lot to me here soon, and... I had really hoped it would give me some insight and help by spending it her on this app. I can get visuals and aspects for those planetary bodies on several other apps for free, but really wanted to see them in context of everything your app has that the others don’t, including PoF among others. Again, I’d rather know that an aspect update is inbound more than anything. I think being able to interpret my chart more precisely will be great escapism for me while couchsurfing, and interpreting charts for others would be an added bonus for them to let me couchsurf for longer. Thanks again for all your help, and I hope y’all are holding up okay during all this pandemic business yourselves.

Прекрасное приложение. Очень много опций, удобное графическое представление. Первый день просто копался в меню. И самое главное- интерактивный гаджет с градусом Луны и положением планет на настоящий момент(подключается в быстрой панели) Низкий поклон разработчику(-кам). Из пожеланий- сделать бы более удобную и простую базу данных, в которой будет сразу видно время и место натальной карты(во время предпросмотра, когда листаешь). Или как отдельный гаджет-с быстрым доступом. Добавлю что простая версия программы содержит практически то же самое, что и платная(кроме прогрессивных карт, звёзд и ещё нескольких мелочей). One of my favorite Astro apps
I've used this app for a very long time (studied astro for abt 7yrs) and I've utilized the widget feature in my notifications for quick reference. It looks like a recent update has changed that feature on the app and now shows me a big empty circular chart with no planets, no aspects. The feature letting me know the sign and degree of the moon was honestly invaluable to me and it's a little frustrating that now it seems much harder to navigate :/

This app has it all (almost;) It’s extremely “handy” for using it to quickly check transits, progressed, etc. One note, it doesn’t have Chiron (why I wonder!) but otherwise so much better, and not even a comparison, to the recent $18.99 app I purchased (I still go to Time Nomad instead for more output/info and its easy navigation) So thankful for this free astro tool, it’s truly awesome :)

I use Time Nomad every day. This app is not for beginners! It is the only app I’ve ever seen with a Transit Timeline, or Transit Graphs, and I love the feature that allows me to select a transit and then click through to see when it began, when it’s exact, and when it ends. The only way it could be improved is if they hired people to write descriptions of each aspect, placement, and transit. However, this is a feature of many other apps and sites, so I *can* get that information elsewhere. I consider this the best free app out there for astrology, and it satisfies the geek in me. I have purchased add-ons for this one, asteroids and progressions, but I would pay more to purchase descriptions and interpretations.

I would not recommend, not only does the app have some of my data points wrong. I noticed something really odd throughout the app. As a company, if you want to reach out to many people. Try not to jab people’s faith by putting Adam and Eve as “fictitious person” 🤷🏻♀️. Making up fake names other than names from relgious books would have been a smarter marketing tool. Even if I understand that the people placed there are suppose to be fake, but by using biblical names and a statement underneath those characters. I realized the creators are willing to put their beliefs in an app that is suppose to serve a purpose with calculations. For that their bias and opinions was noted, under a astrological app which is suppose to be open minded. I don’t think their services is worth recommending 🤷🏻♀️

This app is awesome. It's great for beginners learning astrology. It's very easy to use and has a good set of features. For example sidereal, forecasting transits, etc. They do accept suggestions and I'm looking forward to the suggestions I've inputed. The app is not that bad. I have tried a lot of astrology apps and this one stands out because of the add on it offers and example is fixed star, which not many apps I’ve use offer. The only issue I have with the app is that is not as descriptive as I will like when it comes to aspect or house placement and planet placement. I’m under the impression this app is more for the individual that has an extensive knowledge on astrology. So, the issue I have will not be a problem for someone who uses this app because they already have an understanding of aspects and house placement, so they don’t need to be explain as much what Moon and Pluto aspect is. But if your a beginner forget about it because you will be completely lost with the all the information that is being thrown at you. Not saying that the app doesn’t provide information of astrology because it does but is more basic is not as descriptive as I will like. I really love this app for calculating charts on the go and looking at future and past transits and all things lunar. I particularly like to use this app when I’m trying to place someone’s ascendant. This app also introduced me to the concept of fixed stars and some of the less well known asteroids. It can be overwhelming for someone who is brand new to astrology, but the app is highly customizable, so you can control which features are at your fingertips. For example, you can change orb ranges, limit which aspects are available for viewing (so if you wanted to turn off minor aspects you could), etc. If you’re thinking about downloading - do it. It’s worth it even though I’m submitting feedback for developers. FEEDBACK FOR DEVELOPMENT: - There’s a bug where the wrong forecasting date is shown at the top when looking at future or past transits to the natal chart, and sometimes when you’re viewing the natal chat +/- time - I use this app to catalog charts so being able to group them or rearrange the order they appear on the left would be super helpful. - Editing birth data or deleting a chart is not intuitive from a UX perspective since you have to click the add button (edit library > select person). A separate button would be great

I love this app and use it regularly. However, today I decided to test how far the date could go and it let me go VERY far! So I though, why not? Let’s see what the stars looked like then. But it crashed the app, so I had to delete it and redownload it. All the information I had got lost (I managed to get most of it back, since I remembered a lot of it, but i’d rather I didn’t have to do that). I guess maybe I was asking alot, trying to find out how the planets were taking place way into the distant past. This app is amazing and very helpful but maybe there should be an error message that should pop up if anybody tries to calculate an extremely old date that the app doesn’t have data on, so it doesn’t crash.

Just Keeps Getting Better
There is so much useful information offered for free that I don’t even need the add-ons. But, I purchase them anyway just to support the developer. Just the Personal Events and Summary sections are pure gold for me. The only additions I would ask for is to provide more information for the planets on the outside of the wheel such as degrees, and perhaps Nakshatras. Larger glyphs would be nice too. There is so much empty space inside the wheel that is devoted solely to aspect lines that could be better utilized. People familiar with astrology can easily see aspects on their own. Having an option to turn off aspects and add more information on the outside would be awesome. Low contrast font w/tiny type = hard to see
I’d give Time Nomad a higher score IF I could read it. Because of the low contrast font color and small size type, coupled with a screen that doesn’t enlarge, makes this Tome Nomad a non-visible app to my 58 year old eyes that use 1.25 magnifying reading glasses. Seems like if your going to use the type and color scheme you’ve chosen you should make the screen enlargable, otherwise you are making Time Nomad useless for anyone without perfect eyesight. Looks like a good program but I can’t be sure because I just can’t see it. To Gary - the developer - the solution to this problem is SIMPLE. Put all fonts in BLACK ink against a WHITE background. That’s all you have to do - provide contrast so the letters can be seen. Even if the font size is small, IF the developer provides high-contrast letters (i.e., black letters on white background) then older eyes can read your app. Otherwise, it’s not much use, if you can’t see it.

I've never felt so inclined to praise an app until I downloaded this one. The easy to read and beautiful format helped me pick up on reading circle charts fast and isn't messy. I can discern the aspects and glance at them and I love having the option to get more accurate details. The add-ons are nice too and I like that I don't need them to use the app but it adds nice 'flavor'. I frequently delete apps when I get bored of them or feel they're useless but this is a mainstay in my phone. My only wish is that this would have a sister app that would further expand and explain different aspects and tidbits and extensive astro information. I've been searching long for an app to pair with this gem but for now, this app is immaculate. Thank you.

Great Learning And Visual Tool
This is by far the best app I could find for what I wanted to do -learn by jumping in headfirst and exploring without consistent paid roadblocks. While I have since bought two add-ons I don’t think it’s at all necessary to do so to fully enjoy and learn. There’s tons of options and generally “ok” explanations (I use them as a springboard to google so it’s not really a necessity nor the point of this app). I enjoy the blog (although I believe the RSS subscribe feature is faulty and if it could be fixed I’d love to be able to sub). Really lovely visuals - it’s not tacky or distracting:) I tend to use this more than any desktop option as it’s very clean and easy to separate information out. I really hope the updates keep coming! Right now I wish there was an easy was to see things like Grand Trines and Kites (labeled) as I’m still learning and it’s a bit difficult to decide if what I’m seeing just looks similar or is actually within the reasonable degrees to be considered so but maybe I’m missing something!

There's a lot of detail in a decent UI Is there a way to set a specific screen as the default/home/one the app opens with? I made a review and gave this app 5 stars recently. I now give 1 star after the update because some free functionalities, like synastry, have become PAID add-ons. I think the developer doesn’t have clear what he wants to give for free and what should be paid, changing his mind over time. It doesn’t make any sense to me to use an app that will no longer have the same basic functionality tomorrow, asking for more money. I bought the rather expensive “Get more planets” pack for more that 10€ and they are now asking me for more money to use synastry, and maybe tomorrow even the natal chart will be a new paid add-on and so on... think before you buy one of the add-ons, they will ask you for more money tomorrow!

This is a really nice app with lots of functionality. There aren't any interfering ads or nonsense interfaces. Everything makes sense and there's lots of information. You can do a bunch of charts as well as look at current transits and there's even a place where you can scrub the motion of the planets with a slider and watch them move in the chart. The developers put a lot of work into this clean, ad free app. It's worth giving it a try. EDIT: After using this regularly for a few weeks I really like the aspects time line. I use it all the time. I downloaded this app a few months ago and even though I have professional programs I use for my business, this app is a great resource for quick overviews of transits - mundane & natal - the current sky configuration, and mostly planetary hours! I can plan my day accordingly with those hours so thank you Time Nomad. Last bit of praise goes to Denis and his stellar customer service! Notifications weren't working and not only did this new update fix that, he emailed me from my original request weeks ago informing me they are up and running. Synastry fixed – app clock broken
The synastry feature is all wrong. The comparison chart aligns the ascendants. UPDATE: The developer promptly corrected the issue. The synastry is apparently perfectly accurate. Works great. However, the current version apparently messes up the app clock on an iPhone7+. After I edit a person, the app clock retrogrades by three hours exact. I edited two persons, same issue – and it is incremental. UTC conversion works. In short, as I use the app, it slowly goes back in time, and reading transit maps is literally a headache. Please fix this. It seriously affects the usability of the app – and the app's user. Update: it is the sample Adam and Eve characters that mess up the app clock when you edit them. Persons created "from scratch" don't seem affected by this bug.

Al principio resulta un poco difícil hacerse a ella por la gran cantidad de posibilidades que ofrece, pero tras curiosear bien todo queda claro. El diseño es sencillo y limpio, ideal para centrarse en los aspectos. Al despertarte te envía un aviso con la lunación del día, o aspectos en tránsito que afecten a tu carta. Puedes archivar y analizar cuantas cartas natales quieras, observar el gráfico con todos los aspectos, u omitiendo algunos; avanzando en los días de la semana para adelantarte a los tránsitos. Incluye la opción de llevar a cabo sinastrías, lo que es un +10 Por pedir... La opción de realizar revoluciones solares y lunares sería un puntazo! También sería divertido contar con un pequeño apartado de "diario"; para llevar dentro de la propia app un diario lunar o algo así. Pero vamos, que lo dicho... ¡Una verdadera gozada! 100% recomendable.

Parece que tiene mucha información y que esta está bien organizada pero es mentira. Sin embargo lo más importante es que no respeta el horario que proporcionas, por default todo lo pone a las nueve y no puede corregirse, entonces terminas con un montón de cartas todas con el mismo horario. Lo poco que pude checar de las ciudades que ya vienen incorporadas en el índice quieras o no, no me proporcionó la suficiente confianza. No es claro que es lo que se necesita pagar y no por lo que terminé perdiendo mi tiempo con información que nunca voy a usar. 😡
